Marley is a Brooklyn-born sculptor and sound artist. They create work that prompts others to question the world and the emotional choices we make. Their work explores geography and space, as well as intersectional topics such as race, gender, and trauma. Marley has shown at (Select Shows) Pointe Blank Gallery, Artistry Unbound 2, and MagandMan. They were featured in BLACKCOPPER’s newest issue, Inheritance: Deconstructing Our Shared Histories. They are going to be showing at the Griffith Museum of Science and Industry from January 19th to April 19th.

I am constantly trying to become unstuck from my current beliefs and gain a new understanding of the world, using physical materials and sound to challenge dominant narratives and open new pathways for understanding trauma, identity, and systemic harm. Deep research grounds my process, which blends sound, sculpture, and archival inquiry to build layered works rooted in both material and conceptual rigor. Through immersive environments of metal and sound, I create spaces for confrontation, reflection, and collective repair, inviting viewers to slow down, listen, and question the systems that shape our lives.
