Oskar Johannisson Gonzalez, artistically known as MAGNUS, is a Spanish-Swedish interdisciplinary artist working across drag, installation, sculpture, and research. Their practice challenges cultural binaries of gender, politics, and perception, using latex as both medium and metaphor to evoke the human form.

MAGNUS´s practice delves into a material practice of latex, metal, and synthetic hair. Central to their practice is the exploration of the body, the body in relation to rising technologies, rising nationalism, and the relationship between statehood and the individual body, specifically the erasure of the individual for the goals of a unifying identity.
